About Me

I am a state certified teacher & school principal in both Pennsylvania and New Jersey, with over a decade of experience in early childhood & elementary education. I hold a BS in Education, BS in Religious Studies, M.Ed in Special Education from Penn State University, and an Ed.D in Educational Leadership & Management from Drexel University.

I have held a variety of different roles in education from school leader & director to toddler & PreK teacher, elementary classroom teacher, reading & math intervention teacher, & Acting Club founder & director. I have been able to transform underperforming classrooms, schools, & early education centers to become successful in short periods of time through research based practices & behavior management strategies. I have also written and created songs and a podcast for children, listened to in 26 countries globally.

I believe that the aim of education is to make life-long, independent learners who will learn continuously in an ever-changing world and to make an exceptional impact on society. Education needs to be an interactive experience where students learn from the teacher and then explore, discover, and communicate with the world around them.
